It is generally performed for aesthetic purposes or, in some cases, as a preventive measure to prevent the progression of gum disease.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Hard Tissue Grafts:<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During flap operations, in areas where bone loss is advanced, bone formation is stimulated through the application of synthetic or naturally derived bone grafts (bone powder).
